Get a ride,
priced by distance

No flat mystery fare. $15 per person per mile with a $25 minimum, so the number moves with the distance and how many of you are in the cab. You see it before you accept. Denver only.

What it costs

One rate, counted per person. A pedicab carries the people, not the parcel, so two riders going four miles is twice the work of one rider going four miles and the fare says so. The minimum exists because a two-block hop still has to be worth pedalling.

Minimum, any ride$25

Rounded to a whole dollar. Routed cycling distance, not straight-line, because a pedicab follows streets and one-ways.

Real examples

Actual rides across the operating area, priced by the same engine that quotes you at the curb. The price you are shown is the price you pay.

Distances are approximate until the operating polygon is drawn. ⟨TBD⟩

There is no ceiling and no distance refusal. None. The operating polygon is the only limit. Long rides carry a duration estimate in the quote, before you accept it, not after.

Where we can reach you

Every minute below is measured from the base at 15th & Larimer at pedicab pace. That single location sets the whole coverage picture, so these are the honest numbers rather than a radius drawn on a map.

Ride time from base, and whether a cab can be dispatched or has to be staged nearby.

⟨TBD⟩ No zone is switched on yet
  • Which zones are live at launch is not decided, so nothing above is a pickup promise.
  • The pickup-time threshold a zone must sustain to be promoted is not set.
  • How pickup times get logged, by hand or in the app, is not decided.
  • The operating polygon is not drawn. Until it is, the edges of every zone are approximate.
  • Driver count is not confirmed, and a live availability map needs at least two.

How a zone earns “live”

Zones get promoted on logged pickup times, never on opinion. Three states, and the coverage board will show which one a zone is in.

Denver only, and we mean the boundary

An address has to clear two separate tests. The first is the real Denver city and county boundary, not a radius. The second is the part of the city a pedicab can actually work.

Decided 2026-07-29
  • Gate one, jurisdiction. Denver city and county only. Sourced from Denver Open Data GeoJSON, versioned in the repo. Glendale is the trap here: it is its own city, entirely surrounded by Denver, and a radius test wrongly accepts it.
  • Gate two, operating area. Inside Denver, the part we can ride. Denver International sits inside the legal boundary down an annexed corridor about 25 miles out. No pedicab is riding to the airport.
  • Out of area. Refused, with the nearest in-area pickup offered instead. We do not quote a ride we cannot run.

Good to know

How is the fare worked out?
$15 per person per mile on routed cycling distance, with a $25 minimum. Rounded to the dollar. You see the number before you accept, and it does not change at the curb.
Does the price go up on a busy night?
The quote you are given is the quote you pay, whatever night it is. Rates can change over time, and a custom route, a group or a long ride can be arranged directly with your driver.
How far ahead can I request a ride?
Quarter-hour boundaries only. The horizon is 60 minutes out, with a 10-minute minimum lead. Anything further ahead is a scheduled booking, not an on-demand ride.
Will you ride outside Denver?
No. Denver city and county only, and inside that only where a pedicab can work. If you are outside it we say so plainly and point you at the nearest spot we can reach.
Can I get one right now?
Not yet. This is the 1.1 release and it is a pilot. Tours are the bookable product today. ⟨TBD⟩
Is this a real booking?
No. This is a test build. The fare maths is real and matches the engine, but no payment and no dispatch are connected.
